Ouellette Bros. Timeline
The Ouellette family has been helping to build the community of Fort St. James since 1975, with an impressive portfolio of Residential, Commercial and Industrial Construction projects.
1975Ouellette Bros. Building Supplies open its retail store in 1999.
1999They brought their customers more value and selection by becoming a member of Castle Building Centres - a 100% Canadian Lumber and Building Materials buying group.
2006Ouellette Bros. Enterprise was established specializing in geothermal heating and cooling, natural gas fitting, electrical, and plumbing services and WETT wood stove inspections (these services are no longer available). Providing professional planning, project management through to completion.
2008Added a Gardening Centre inside the store.
2011In addition to the retail store - a seasonal Green House added outside the store - with annual and perennial flowering plants, vegetable seedlings, herbs, trees and shrubs. Year-round the store carries everything needed indoors, including seeds, soils and tools. Each year it is enhanced to include more fountains, garden art and a greater selection of plants. 2016The retail store offers a complete line of building supplies, hardware, kitchen and bath, interiors and Benjamin Moore paint products. Ouellette carries GE, GE Profile and Moffat appliances as well as Serta mattresses and Pet and Farm Feed and supplies. Whatever you need for your lawn and garden, painting and decorating, carpet and flooring, moving equipment, plumbing, electrical tools, gas tools, air compressors and tools, drilling, propane, concrete and masonry tools, fastening, generators and welders, ladders and scaffolding.
